twirl a whirl, thanks, and anticipation of deviltry

1. It's a cold night and the rain is pelting down sideways. By the side of the road, I see a boy and girl standing by a bus stop. They are twirling a rainbow striped umbrella and laughing.
2. Plastered to the side walk is a note written in child's handwriting that says, "Thank you for my Easter dinner. It was very nice."
3. I've found an old fashioned tire swing at a nearby park and I'm making plans for a midnight visit.
